How do I update Incise?
If you installed with Homebrew, run brew upgrade --cask incise. Mac App Store installs update automatically.
Which macOS is supported?
Incise runs on macOS Ventura (13) or later, on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
Where are my files kept?
Entirely on your Mac. Incise reads and writes the files and folders you open directly on your disk — nothing is uploaded or stored anywhere else. See the privacy policy for details.
What’s the Claude Code integration?
An optional feature that connects Incise to the Claude Code tool you run yourself, locally on your Mac. Turn it on in Incise’s Preferences; it’s off by default.
